Guidelines:

  • Use proper equipment like Bale Handlers/Grippers and ensure safe unloading practices. These tools minimize damage to the plastic wrap and prevent spoilage.
  • Inspect bales for signs of damage, holes, or tears in the plastic wrap. Damaged bales should be repaired immediately using Teflon tape and extra film cover to prevent spoilage.
  • Store bales on a well-drained surface and cover them if necessary to protect from pests and weather conditions.
  • Regularly inspect stored bales for signs of rodent or bird damage, as they can puncture the plastic wrap and cause spoilage.
